The new Motorola ZN300 will come equipped with 3 megapixel camera, QVGA display and Opera Mini mobile browser.
Well, that’s about all we know about ZN300. But we also got confirmation about another Motorola handset in their QA line.Source...

Motorola W370 Qucik Review

I currently use a V176 cell phone that was “hot” in 2005. And I too had a lot of “issues” with the internet” I believe its a marketing issue that pre-paid cell phone don’t truly offer “internet” access but intra-net to the main site for its ringtones, and services. That’s the “nutshell” from pre-paid, and contract agreement. You get what you pay for!
Sadly, most of the phones don’t have much “room” on pre-paid unless you
are a professional hacker who can “upgrade” the phone’s memory to handle
the internet. I wouldn’t want internet anyway, I’d rather download the
ringtone I want to my pc, and use a mini-usb / usb connector adaptor to
“load” to the phone direct with the right software. I’d get with some
corporate executives or technical engineers to send me a CD or a web
link to download the phone connection software so I can connect my pc
to my phone, download the ringtone I want, and load it to the phone
directly. If I can’t do that, then better get enough lawyers who are
versed in cell phone laws to convince otherwise. If you happen to know
of the Motorola Technical Engineers or Upper Crust management to make
this happen, let all of us “peons” know! It would be great if the
Motorola Corporation would get out of the clouds and be able to fix any
issues that need fixing.
I’d buy this phone from NET-10 simply because of the flexibility of
the network, and being pre-paid you get what you pay for. Much like a
Motel-6 commercial.. Clean, comfortable room, leaves the light on for
you, and basic cable package. Get what you pay for. If you want frills
and thrills, then go to Holiday Inn, or Ramada, or Best Western.
At any rate, if I wanted internet service, I’d make sure the phone
can handle today’s webpages. I’d suggest to the marketing reps for any
cell phone company. Don’t promise what you won’t deliver. Don’t say one
thing, and not provide reasonable service or guarantee. Source...

Motorola's upcomming MOTO RAZR3 Vxx "Ruby" specification leaked

There’s an interesting rumor floating around various mobile message boards. And, judging from the past performace of the posters, they are likely to be true.

It seems that in addition to their multimedia flagship Alexander/ZN12, Motorola is also working on the next successor to their RAZR series, codenamed “Ruby”.

It will be called… you guessed right - Motorola RAZR 3 Vxx (not sure what numbers will be for the x’ses).

MotoRAZR 3 design will include metallic body and overall size somewhat smaller then current RAZR 2 V9. The front screen will have 6 customizable touch hotspots for quick application access.

Motorola RAZR3 specsheet should include:

3G HSDPA connectivity
5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash
Built-in GPS
Wi-Fi
And, here’s the interesting part.

Motorola RAZR3 will be based on Symbian UIQ 3.3 platform, with strong customization by Motorola.

The current software customization for Motorola “Ruby” is still pretty buggy, but it should be improved soon. After that “Ruby” software baseline will be used to produce several additional phones in clamshell, candybar and slider form factors.

The next Moto RAZR3 is expected in Q12009.

Well, that’s about it for now. And we will keep you posted when we hear more.
Source...

Is Motorola working on MOTO Razr 3?

Motorola might be placing hopes on its new superphone, the Alexander/ZN12, but that hasn't stopped it looking back at past successes and thinking 'the world needs another Razr'.

We would hope that the first phone, which was a beautiful handset but rubbish on the specs, would be kept as a decent memory, currently unsullied by the Razr2, which nobody seems to have noticed.

But no, Moto wants more, and the Razr3 is apparently on its way in Q1 next year, under the codename of 'Ruby' according to the internet rumour mill.

Same again

Expect something along the lines of touchscreen tech inside and out, 3.2MP+ camera, HSDPA and a new metallic chassis.

According to Unwired View, the chat is that the new phone will use the Symbian UIQ3.3 platform, after which Moto will re-touch it to fit in with the rest of its range.

Moto seems to have forgotten what the public want in a phone after the success of the Razr, and we at TechRadar hope it goes back to its innovative roots (StarTAC, anyone?) and brings us some new designs to drool over. Source...

Motorola announced MOTOJEWEL or a Diamond Phone?

While a lot of people sure don’t like the HTC Touch Diamond’s funnily designed backplate, it looks like the folks over at Motorola do, or think other people do anyways. The reason we say so is because Motorola has just unveiled its new MOTOJEWEL clamshell handset in the UK, which looks aimed at the fairer sex, complete with its own mini handbag, which can keep a few small items along with the phone itself. The MOTOJEWEL seems to share a lot of similarities with the U9 handset, with specs such as a 2 megapixel camera, music player, Bluetooth stereo support and hidden external display. The phone will have a “midnight quartz” color scheme, along with its purple keypad. The MOTOJEWEL will only be available for a limited time, and should start retailing in November on UK’s Carphone Warehouse retail chain. Source...

Motorola released single mode VoWLAN phone

What you see above is supposed to be Motorola's 'single mode' Voice over WLAN (VoWLAN) phone. In other words, this phone will let you make calls over a Wi-Fi network. It runs Windows Mobile smartphone edition and in all probability, it won't have GSM or CDMA connectivity (hence the term single mode). Motorola has categorised it under its EWP series and is expected to be available exclusively in North America. We don't have any further details on this baby. If you think you do, don't feel shy and speak up! Source...

Onto the plain and boring Push To Talk phone… Not as nearly innovative as its V950 cousin, the iDEN only Motorola i365 is another rugged phone built to military standards. It offers GPS, web, email, SMS/MMS, and Bluetooth in a candy bar design. It’s not a bad choice for someone who may prefer a featureless, rugged, candy bar style phone with outdated PTT technology. Any takers? It is available for $89.99 with a 2 year agreement. Source...
