Nokia announces 8800 Carbon Arte to show what real luxury is all about

Thanks, Nokia. You know we’ll never get enough of your oh-so-expensive and luxurious 8800 series phones. That’s why we’ll be digging the new 8800 Carbon Arte all the more. The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is the latest in Nokia’s line of luxury phones, and it features a shell that’s built from carbon fiber, stainless steel, and titanium materials. To finish it off Nokia even coats the thing with an anti-fingerprint coating to take care of those unsightly smudges.

To give you your money’s worth, the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte also comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, OLED display, 3G network support and 4GB of built-in flash memory. And speaking of money, better prepare a whole lot of it, ’cause these contraptions will set you back €1,100 (or about $1,600) before taxes and subsidies. Wait for it to become available by Q3 2008.
