Y-browser - Free File Explorer For Nokia and Symbian Phones

Don’t go by the name of the application as it gives a notion that the application is some mobile phone web browser but it’s actually not the case. Y-browser is symbian mobile phone file manager application which is available as a free download. It includes all the features that a file browser must have but at the same time what makes it different from the other file managers is that you have the option of the sending the files when you are browsing through the files.

The functionality of Y-browser has all the features of a system file manager which includes features such as copy, cut, paste, create, move etc. The good thing about the application is that you can also send a file via Bluetooth, e-mail, MMS and infrared and the same time have the option of changing the attributes of the files. This feature  include options such as hiding the file by just clicking on the text box near to the file name and recheck it again to revert the action initially done.

However this is a little drawback of the application also. Consider the example when you have put your jpg files in some folder and you have hidden the files, now hiding the files will not only prevent the contents of that folder to be barred from displaying but they also does not show up in the gallery.
