MetrO - Free Route Finder Symbian App For Mobile

MetrO is a free Symbian mobile phone application which actually is a route finder. You just need to enter the start and the final destination and this application will plan out the route you should take to reach your destination. As if know default version of the installation includes seven of the most popular networks, including London, Paris, Berlin and New York. This application covers most of the other parts of the world which are included in the 4MB ZIP file. It doesn’t really matter if you are using Series 60, UIQ and Series 80 device because all the installation versions have approximately same interface and functionality. The homepage of the application above will show how it looks. When you boot up the application for the first time you will have to select one of the cities as a default. You can choose from the cities that you have installed or the seven default. The next thing you need to do is select the start and the end points of your journey to chalk out your best routes. The route is shown on two basis one on the basis of the shortest time to reach the destination and the other is based on the least number of interconnections which means the number of trains you will have to change to reach your destination.

Moreover you can also specify some favourite tourist attractions which will also be displayed on your screen along with some basic information about the timings of the place. For instance when you specify Madame Tussaud’s in London, the opening and the closing times will also be shown along with it. I must say that the multilevel design of the application can become a little confusing as you dig deeper into the application. The more you tap, more you get deep in the levels.Download MetrO
