Cheaper Samsung S7330 Soul pops-up

Samsung is adding another handset to it’s newly created GT series line-up - Samsung S7330, and it looks like it will be another Soul.

Just like LG did with their Shines and Chocolates, Samsung has lately been churning out various Soul versions for mass market, and selling tons of them. We already have Samsung G400 Soulf clamshell, Samsung U800 Soulb candybar, and, of course, the Pink Samsung Soul U900.

Now it’s time for a cheaper, a little less soaped-up mass market handset, and that’s what Samsung Soul S7330 appears to be:

Samsung GT-S7330 has added the mechanical control buttons, reduced it’s HSDPA data rates to 3.6 Mbs (from 7.2 Mbps), and opted for a lower resolution - 3.2 mpx - camera. It also kept the looks and all the other features of the original Soul.

Full specs of Samsung S7330 Soul include:

* Quad band GSM (850/900/1 800 / 1 900 MHz), UMTS (2100 MHz), GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA (up to 3.6 Mbps) connectivity
* 2.2″ 16 million color, QVGA 320×240 px LCD display
* Interactive “Magical Touch” DaCP secondary display/touchpad (256 color)
* 3.2 Mpx camera with LED flash autofocus and face recognition
* CIF front camera for video calls
* FM Radio with RDS
* Mpeg4 media player
* Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, USB 2.0
* Battery: 800 mAh, 350 hrs standby, 7 hrs talk time
* Dimensions/weight: 105 x 49.5 x 14 mm, 110 grams

Unsubsidized Samsung Soul S7330 price should be around $500 and it should go on sale next month. Source...
