NEC ‘N906i’

NEC expects to release its 5.2M camera phone ‘N906i’ in Japan market through NTT DoCoMo.SEOUL, Korea (AVING). The clamshell appears with a 5.2 Megapixel sensor along. ‘N906i’ is taking its predecessor’s face detection and a step further, it has smile detection which clicks the shutter only when it detects a smile. You can resize and attache your photograph automatically to the e-mail client for a speedy transfer. Moreover, watching video and web browsing are in easy task because it is equipped with 3 inch VGA (640 x 480) screen. Also, there is practically no constraints on the web sites you can access as it supports for Flash 8.0. Unfortunately, the N906i lacks a 1Seg tuner and that is a pity as the phone’s high res large display. The phone packs in HSDPA connectivity. And these features include; GPS, Yamaha audio chip for crisp and clear sound, Micro SD card slot and support for majority of audio and video formats. The NEC N906i measures 109×49×19.6mm and weighs 133 grams. As always it is a Japan only product and will stay that way.
