German smell text messages created

First it was Japan, now Germany... can Italy be far behind?

No, it's not 1943 and this isn't WW2, what we're talking about is smell phones, and the newest player is two German companies that in conjunction with the Institute of Sensory Analysis and Marketing Consultancy have created a small chip that holds 100 different prefabricated scents such as vanilla and rose.

The scents would be sent via text message, but obviously will only work if people already have the chip in their cell phones; and will only work in a year or so when the smell chip is expected to enter the European market.
