iPhone FINALLY comes to Canada

In a move that will make Canadians slightly less self loathing, Rogers Communication has announced that they've reached a deal to bring the iPhone to Canada... in what feels like 5 years after it debuted south of the border.

Here's the press release in all of it's glory:

"We're thrilled to announce that we have a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to Canada later this year. We can't tell you any more about it right
now, but stay tuned."

The deal (which is still a little bit blurry at the moment) was expected for some time as Rogers is the only carrier in Canada to run on GSM and it's already estimated that thousands of unlocked iPhones, bought in the U.S. are already running on the Rogers network.
