New C510 Music Phone from Pantech

Pantech has announced a veritable truckload of new handsets from CTIA Wireless in Orlando this week, including its new music-centric folder, the C510. With a metallic design and features tooled for audio, the Pantech C510 is an interesting little handset.

The Pantech C510 is a quad-band GPRS/EDGE device to be released in the North American market, and with its bright color scheme is obviously aimed at the youth demographic. A slightly disappointing 128x160 pixel resolution internal display is complemented by an inverse monochrome external screen for track information, positioned next to music control keys on the outside of the flip. While the device holds only 30MB of on board memory, music can be easily stored on microSD memory cards and listened to through stereo Bluetooth headphones. A 1.3 megapixel camera is also present for imaging.
