Hulu, the Youtube like startup that's a joint venture between NBC and FOX's parent company, is soon going to be accessible via cell phones, this according to hints made by Hulu CEO Jason Kilar. Here's what he had to say at the recent NAB show:
"[Cellular is] ripe for the Hulu experience... It may not be identical [on every platform], but anything connected to the Internet would be a good fit for Hulu."
And while he wouldn't go further into Hulu's plans, his words seem a harbinger of good things to come... provided you live in the United States. See, every time I try to watch a clip from NBC or FOX TV show, I get one of those, sorry this is not avaliable in your country, notices; meaning if I want to see the clip or episode I'll have to find it on a site on the internet not generating ad revenue for Hulu.
Pretty stupid on their part, no?
