PhotoDial, a new iPhone application released by Makayama Software, lets you click on your contacts’ portrait to place a call. When you start up the program, you’ll see a grid of photos- the ones you have already assigned to your contacts. PhotoDial can supposedly set up everything automatically for you, as it imports both contact portraits and phone number. There’s only one catch. It isn’t free! If you really feel the need to tap a picture of your friend’s face before calling them, Makayama will let you do it for $15.
