Motorola has just released their first firmware update for the Z8 Motorizr UIQ 3.1 based phone (it's the same version that ships installed on new units). Download the update from Motorola Support website, install it, connect your Z8 with the USB cable and make sure that the connection is set to the USB modem mode.
