Israeli phone company: no porn for you

Apparently not only is pork not Kosher, but neither is porking.

Israel's largest phone company, Bezeq Israel Telecom, just launched a "Kosher Phone Line" last Sunday that will block out porn and any other destinations deemed trefe to the country's ultra Orthodox Haredi community. Bezeq has already poured $500,000 into this "Clean Line", which is being endorsed by high ranking community rabbis.

The service is also available for the non religious and would probably be a good fit for fundamentalist sects of other religions as well.

However, where this service would really take off, is if they adapted it to block your wife and her nudnik friends from being able to call each other. What Jewish husband wouldn't want a "Yenta free" phone plan?
