Nokia would be on the verge of buying Navteq

Despite the announcement by Nokia, the acquisition of the creator of Navteq GPS maps still depended on the approval of shareholders.

The offer made by Nokia seems to finally be successful and the majority shareholders of Navteq had already given the go-ahead for the operation. In fact 99% of them voted yes.

We can already virtually taken for fact that Nokia is one of the players in the market for GPS navigators, because the maps are one of the most coveted dishes at the same time important in the world of browsers GPS, which now have the jump Definitive to mobile devices, especially phones.
