Chinese Concept Phones: Practicality is the Future

Coolest Gadgets has collected several odd-looking Chinese concept phones. If you think the Nokia Aeon is to die for, concept phones like this Huawei concept on the left with an integrated USB connector keeps your budget alive much longer. The adapter is made of flexible material you can wrap it over the top of your handset when not in use.

The second Huawei concept phone uses an external battery (connected tothe phone via USB) and comes with a spare one that can be plugged if you need to recharge the first one. The batteries are round things that can be customized depending on your tastes.

The last concept employs a detachable bluetooth headset. The last image at the original source illustrates how the detachable headset can be carried and used without the cellphone, and also comes in handy later on for finding where you had left the handset.

Now these concepts are well within the existing technology, and I’m sure Chinese manufacturers could come out with marketable models soon enough if they prove to be at all marketable.
