Motorola Atila gets leaked with actual pic and spec sheet

What happens when you take the Motorola Alexander and eliminate the QWERTY keyboard plastered all over its face? Well, you get a non-QWERTY Motorola that you’d have to operate via touchscreen, and call it the Motorola Atila. At least, that’s what BGR’s sources are saying.

The Motorola Atila is touted to have a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen that will be used to operate it as it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. And probably the juiciest bit about this new leak is that the Motorola Atila will be the first Moto smartphone with triband UMTS/HSDPA. Along with Wi-Fi, that makes this upcoming number shine in Motorola’s range.

It’s also quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, so it should be able to keep you covered no matter where you go around the world. The battery is said to be a 1130 mAh unit, and is pretty much standard to smartphones nowadays.

There’s no definite date yet for this handset’s launch, but from what we’ve learned off its spec sheet, there should be a reasonable amount of people waiting for this one. Somehow, “comeback” doesn’t seem like such a bad word to say in the same sentence as “Motorola.” Source...
