Lou Reed has always been a New York City man, but that doesn't mean he can't translate to other languages. When a cell phone went off during his keynote address at the South By Southwest Festival in Texas, he dealt with it the only way a punk icon should. Confrontationally."What does 'Turn off your cell phone' mean in Texas? Do you have to say it differently, like 'Howdy?' Shove it in a cow."
To be fair Texas is the Lonestar State, West Virginia is the shove it in your cow state, but the point being if even Lou Reed is schooling you in etiquette, you should probably just turn off your damn phone.
