According to our sister site Ubergizmo and the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, HTC has a new smartphone in the works called the CONV100. The document states that the phone will be released for Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, so there's a good chance the device will have at least 2.5G capabilities. So little is known about this device, that everything is being left for speculation, but we wouldn't be surprised to see Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR support.
