Unless you fancy twiddling with your registry there's no real easy way to change the default start page on Internet Explorer included in Windows Mobile. You may have your network's start page, you may have Live Search but, if you're like the majority of people, you may want to use Google to search.
Google have now launched a plugin for your homepage, which looks a bit like this (right) and will let you easily Google for things without having to faff about opening up IE and then opening up Google. Just browse to mobile.google.com (for some reason it's not available to download on mobile.google.co.uk and it'll install for free. Once running you can set your location anywhere in the world and get local results too.
