Zeki: not a toy, not yet a cell phone

The part that should really creep you out is it comes with SMS.

Yes, despite their targets audience being too young to read or write, YoungToys of Korea have still included text messaging on their Zeki mobile phone for toddlers.

For a $105, the Zeki is essentially a souped up walkie talkie, allowing parent and child to communicate via their cell phones for up to 260 feet. Data can also be exchanged through the parent cell and the Zeki features MP3 playback, audio and video recording, and the ability to download games.

Soon to be released, the Zeki cell phone is also said to be made of materials not harmful to children, so unless your kid is like a goat and eats anything, it's bizarre but safe to bring home .
