How to: Tether your iPhone to your Leopard Mac

It’s a good thing we’re posting this early in the A.M., because following this procedure is going to take you some serious hours. If you really want to tether your iPhone to your Mac, however, this is pretty much the easiest route. First, you need the following to even consider this process:

1. A jailbroken iPhone
2. SSH and BSD Subsystem packages installed
3. A Leopard computer
4. Crazy amounts of patience

Fortunately, NerveGas has ported BIND 9.4.2 to work on the iPhone, which should speed the process up a little bit if you know what you’re doing.

Tethering your phone is a rewarding experience and can be both a great work aid and a fancy trick to show off to your friends. Click the link below, and best of luck to you. You’ll need it.
