Well of course they can’t find osama bin laden… they can’t even pay their phone bills.A new report from The Justice Department found that due to the incompetence of a third party billing system that hadn’t been updated since the 1980s, FBI wiretaps have suffered periodical lapses in service. Of 990 payments, less than half were made in a timely fashion to phone carries.While the report claims that no important intelligence was lost due to wiretaps being shut off, they really have no way to know that without working wiretaps and the majority of the 87 page audit remains classified anyway.So in conclusion, Big Brother is watching and listening… just not necessarily on the first of the month.
