The 3.5G networks, also known as HSDPA, has grown 69% in the last year according to the study made by the Global Mobile Suppliers Association (GSA), which represents the majority of GSM/3G operators in the world.
Today there are 166 commercial HSDPA networks in 75 countries. Addition to 38 new networks are about to be released so that the figure would reach 204 in 89 countries. The distribution continents by Western Europe with 61 wins plus 34 from Eastern Europe compared with 35 in Asia, 20 in Africa and 15 in South America.
