Samsung has invented the world's first 8MP CMOS camera module for mobile phones

Samsung recently announced that they developed world's first 8 Megapixel CMOS camera module for mobile phones.This 8MP camera has a CMOS sensor which measures only 10.5 X 11.5 X 9.4mm and also has auto focus feature. By the size it may look like a 3MP but in fact it gives the performance of 8 Megapixel camera phone.Samsung folks commented , that they were able to achieve this with the help of PIEZO technology.
